Would you like Britannia to feature at your next event?

Booking An Event

Please read this before you make aN Enquiry

To make sure we can deliver a safe, fun and successful event, we ask the following to be taken into consideration when planning your event:

Book in advance

Ideally we need plenty of notice to do a show and as a general rule of thumb, bookings must be made at least 2 months in advance. This gives us time to arrange a site visit with our clients and give our members enough time to book time off work.

Logistics & Access

An ancient army would move slowly and would often construct what it needed on-site out of local materials. Fortunately we have access to modern transportation methods that allow us to swiftly and effectively move the large components we require to host your event. Tents, catapults and other large display components still require a large vehicle, making our access to the site a crucial component when you’re planning an event with us. Low gateways, load bearing bridges and rough/soft ground are all things to consider before we accept a booking that may involve our larger props.

Security & Facilities

We often travel a fair distance to an event so if you’re considering a multi-day event or an early start is required, camping/accommodation/security/first aid facilities will have to be discussed and arranged.

Book direct

Britannia prefers to deal directly with our clients to streamline communication and align expectations. We do not work with agents or consultants.

Safety & Insurance

We have £5,000,000 Public Liability Insurance, this is only valid if we have a clearly defined double-roped barrier (15ft apart) between our combat activity and the audience at all times. Because fire and sharp implements are used in our living history area – this has to have a rope barrier around it too (although activities need only be 6ft from the public).

We are here to answer any questions you may have about booking an event with us.
