About the event

The show has a fantastic reputation for its portrayal of the past 150 years of allied and axis engagement. This event provides the most exciting sense of walking back in time. Hear the stories, see the sights. Prepare for the unexpected. Prepare to get involved.

The experience that is Temple at War will start from the moment that you arrive and last until it is time to go home.

Vintage Music and Entertainment, Home Guard Village, WW2 Battle Arena.

BBMF Flypast (yet to be confirmed): The best interactive re-enactment Living.

History Groups: Huge variety of WW2 and Post War Vehicle Displays.

WW1 Drill and Sunday Service: Family interactive entertainment and competitions.

Food Court and Military/Vintage Markets.

We are proud to offer free of charge entry to serving military and Veteran personnel and Cadet Unites proudly supporting the Essex Army Services Covenant.

Please be aware that due to the nature of the event, the loud noises that will be experienced, close quartered spontaneous re-enactment and that the site is a scheduled listed monument. Dogs are not allowed at this event, unless deemed as support or guide dogs.
